This Privacy Policy describes how ShieldGate (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit or interact with this public marketing website (the “Site”), including when you submit a demo or sales inquiry.

Scope. This policy applies only to the Site. It does not cover:

• Self-hosted or customer-operated ShieldGate product deployments (console, gateway, appliances, or APIs you run);
• Separate ShieldGate properties such as the product console, documentation site, or Academy, which may have their own notices; or
• Third-party websites or services that link to or from the Site.

Customer data processed inside a product deployment you operate is governed by your own policies and any applicable license or data processing agreement with us—not by this marketing-site policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you submit the contact form, we collect the information you enter, which may include:

• Full name
• Work email address
• Company or organization name (optional)
• Interest category (for example demo, pilot, pricing, or network appliance)
• Message content and any other details you choose to include

Do not submit special-category or sensitive personal data (such as government ID numbers, health data, or passwords) through the contact form. We do not need that information to respond to marketing inquiries.

Information collected automatically

When you access the Site, our servers and request logs may record standard technical metadata, including:

• Requested URL, HTTP method, and response status

7. Retention

We retain contact inquiries and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond to your request, manage the sales relationship, and meet recordkeeping, security, and legal requirements—typically no longer than necessary for those purposes.

Server and application logs are retained according to our operational log-retention settings and then deleted or anonymized. If inquiry data is forwarded to a CRM or notification system via webhook, retention in that system follows the controls configured for that destination.

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information collected through the Site, including HTTPS, security response headers (such as HSTS in production, content security policy, and clickjacking protections), and access controls for systems that receive contact submissions.

The Site may link to the ShieldGate console, documentation, Academy, or other external resources. Those properties are outside the scope of this policy. Review the notices presented on those properties before providing personal information there.
